Free, peer-reviewed, openly licensed textbooks.

OpenStax is a nonprofit initiative based at Rice University that publishes free, peer-reviewed textbooks under open licences. The titles cover common introductory college subjects such as biology, physics, chemistry, maths, economics and psychology, and some high-school courses. Books can be read online or downloaded as PDFs, and low-cost printed copies are available, so students avoid expensive course texts. Instructors also get supporting materials for many titles. It is a textbook library rather than an interactive course, so it has no quizzes tracked for you, tutoring or certificates.
